Youtube has been around for pretty much as long as I can remember and I remember as a kid watching my favourite youtubers religiously. It started with beauty and make-up tutorials and has slowly progressed to what I find to be my comfort and sense of calm. Now this ranges anywhere from among us gaming videos to day in the life content, it really depends on my mood but I always find myself going back to the same groups of people so it feels like time to share.

Sidemen

Let’s just start with my favourite youtubers of all time. The Sidemen literally have such a special place in my heart, I have watched them for probably around five years now and their progression and their dedication never fails to amaze me. I don’t know if its the connection between their group of just the sheer brilliance of their content but I’m here for it. Sidemen Among Us goes on every meal time as my comfort go-to and it is honestly embarrassing how many times I’ve rewatched those videos.

Zoe Sugg

Another really obvious one here, but Zoe Sugg (formally Zoella) has quite honestly captured the nation’s heart. If you didn’t watch Vlogust where have you been and what could you possibly have been doing that was better than watching a small child get a surprise trip to the Isle of Wight. Not only have we all watched Zoe’s journey through life, her reach goals, meet her husband, have her children but we also find ourselves immersed in this dream that is her life. Quite frankly when I’m older I want to be Zoe Sugg…

Imogen Cribb

If you don’t know Imogen Cribb then get to know. Imogen creates lifestyle, beauty, fashion content, and is also a trained dancer. Her energy is infectious and her dedication to work always seems to keep me impressed. She created her own brand ‘the girlies love to’ in the hope of bringing girls together to meet other people which in itself just shows how wholesome she is. I could sit and watch her videos for hours with a nice peppermint tea and a massive sense of calm.

Meg Hughes

Now Meg Hughes is THE ultimate comfort youtuber. I’ll be honest I started watching her on tiktok and remember thinking I wish she had longer versions of her style content because it was just so relaxing and low and behold she had a youtube channel. Her honesty about her emotional and mental wellbeing is probably what grew my love for her as well as her kind of niche of knowledge on films and tv series, definitely one to watch in the future.

CosyK

Now this one is probably a little bit left-field for me, but tiktok has turned me into someone who is OBSESSED with cosy gaming. I don’t even necessarily play a lot of games (stardew valley hits different though) but there’s something about watching cosy games and cosy hobbies that once again just makes me feel so calm. Kennedy will probably make you reconsider everything you’ve ever found cosy because her level of cosy is next level and now I want her life.
